Cara Meyer, MSW

Cara Meyer is a graduate student of Social Work at UNC Charlotte. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Cara’s focus is to work in a hospital setting where she can utilize the skills she has obtained while working in the field. Cara has experience working with diverse populations, building relationships, and implementing creative solutions to issues people face. Cara has experience in behavioral health techniques and has spent the last two years working as a health navigator for individuals in the community. She is excited to refine these skills in her internship at the Levine Cancer Institute for the 2020-2021 academic year.
