Abigail Bates

Abigail Bates earned her Bachelors in Social Work with Summa Cum Laude from UNC Charlotte in May 2022. During her years as an undergraduate, she was introduced to trauma work in the medical field and hence she found her passion for the trauma population and suicide prevention programs within the medical field. She is currently a Master in Social Work advanced standing student at UNC Charlotte. After graduation in May 2023, she hopes to be within the medical field and is open to work in different sectors/concentrations. She is also interested in obtaining my Ph.D. in social work and becoming a professor sometime in future. Abigail feels honored to be in the IBH Program!
