Amanda Overcash, MSW

Amanda Overcash has earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree and is currently an Advanced Standing graduate student in the Social Work program at UNC Charlotte. She is passionate about pursuing clinical social work in working with the older adult population and mental health. Amanda has gained experience working in Adult Services at Rowan County DSS during her undergraduate and will intern at the Movement Family Wellness Center for her current field placement. She also has experience working directly with community members during times of crisis through volunteering with her local fire department by integrating her social work skills with her medical skills. After graduation, Amanda plans to obtain her LCSW to continue paving the path of Integrated Behavioral Health.
