Chandradai earned her Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) degree with Honors, Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology, and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). She has also completed minors in Psychology and Gerontology. Her education and training have focused on mental health, research, social justice, and advocacy on behalf of vulnerable populations. Chandradai has a strong background in understanding the needs and disadvantages of underserved populations through her work with refugees and those living with disabilities. Her internship in developmental and behavioral pediatrics further prepared her to work in the area of behavioral healthcare. She is currently engaged in research on adolescent suicide, behavioral healthcare leadership, and the effects of health care policies on the lives of minorities. As a social worker, Chandradai is interested in continuing to integrate her skills into behavioral healthcare while contributing to the overall health and well-being of clients.
