Lauren Hines

Lauren earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Johnson C. Smith University. Currently she is pursuing her Master of Social Work degree through the advanced standing program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She serves as a McNair graduate assistant at JCSU as a mentor by providing research assistance to research fellows. Her previous experience focused on supporting students with social, emotional, and educational needs through Communities In Schools. She is passionate about school-based therapy focusing on mental health, trauma, and helping students achieve academic success. Lauren hopes to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and further her education with obtaining her P.h.D.
