Madison Pickens earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Spanish for the Health Professions at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2019. She is currently a student in the Master of Social Work program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her previous experience includes interning in the adolescent psych department of the UNC Hospital, working at the Boys and Girls Club of America and interning at a private practice that specializes in Play Therapy. Madison is passionate about mental health, nutrition and finding adequate care and resources for children and families. Madison will be completing her internship in the pediatric department of the Cabarrus Health Alliance. After graduate school, Madison hopes to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and continue working with children and families.
