Makayla Pittman, MSW

My name is Makayla Pittman and I earned my Bachelors of Science degree in Social Work at Appalachian State University. I have research trauma across the lifespan and social work implications for practice. I have experience in volunteering and interning in mental health settings such as being a volunteer navigator at Appalachian Regional Healthcare system, volunteer at a Lois E Harrill senior center, and have practiced as a clinical intern at Daymark Recovery Service completing assessment and group therapy. I will be completing my internship currently at Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Clinic. Post receiving my Masters of social work, and look forward to earning and practicing as a License Clinical Social Worker.
