Mariah Peavey,MSW

Mariah Peavey earned her Bachelor of Social Work at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She is currently in the two-year Master of Social Work program at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Her previous experience was related to providing re-entry services to the incarcerated population. Also, her current field placement for her advanced year of the program is at Levine Hospital in the Cancer Institute because she has an interest in the field of medical social work. She is hoping that with the exposure to her current field placement she will gain knowledge and skills to make palliative social work with families her focus.
