Nathan Usey is a graduate student studying social work at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His interests include clinical mental health, immigration and working with at risk youth. He served in the Peace Corps teaching English abroad after graduating from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelors in Psychology. His placement in the Peace Corps was in the Eastern Caribbean on islands such as St. Lucia and Grenada. Nathan’s strengths are his work ethic and ability to empathize across barriers. He is an Eagle Scout and is studying for his Master Beekeeper certification. He recently worked as an Exceptional Children’s Teacher Assistant at Southwest Guilford High School. His field placement is in the Cotswold area of Charlotte where he will be working at Cotswold Family Medicine.
