Anna Rose Smith

Anna Rose Smith is a graduate student in UNC Charlotte’s Master of Social Work program and an integrated behavioral health intern at Cabarrus Health Alliance. Following graduation in May 2024, Anna plans to pursue her licensure and become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to offer therapy and other services to rural populations in English and Portuguese. Anna is passionate about improving rural access to mental and behavioral healthcare whether that is via telehealth, research, policy, or other methods. She has found fulfillment and purpose in facilitating support groups for grieving children and plans to prioritize that work in her career as a social worker.
