Ayanna Johnson earned her Bachelor of Psychology from UNC Greensboro in 2022. She graduated Magna Cum Laude. During her time as an undergraduate, Ayanna interned with the Spartan Recovery Center which served as a field site for students in different stages of their journey in recovery. Ayanna was also a research assistant for the Interactions and Relationships Lab where she focused on collecting data on how culture and society impact the parent-child relationship in college. While in Greensboro, Ayanna worked as a Behavioral Technician for children with autism where she gained a passion for working with adolescents and young adults. After earning her Master’s in Social Work, Ayanna’s professional goals are to obtain her licensure (LCSW), work in case management and counseling within the medical field, and a long term goal of opening her own private practice.
