Bailey Hoesman
Bailey Hoesman is a final-year student in the 2-year Master of Social Work program and an IBH scholar at UNC Charlotte. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from East Carolina University in 2023. Bailey is passionate about school-based social work. Her experience includes work as a youth prevention specialist, teaching evidence-based substance-use prevention programs to elementary school students in Rowan County Schools, and working on an Interpersonal Violence Prevention team in the Center for Wellness Promotion at the University. In addition to her experiences in education and prevention services, Bailey’s interests include pediatric behavioral health, grief and loss counseling, and child-centered play therapy. She is currently interning at Cabarrus Health Alliance in the Pediatrics clinic. Bailey plans to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and wants to continue serving in her field of interests.
