Christina Felten

Christina is a Master of Social Work student in her final year of UNC Charlotte’s part time distance education program. In 2009 she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from the UNC Charlotte. Christina is an advocate, a mother, an artist, and a musician, and she incorporates her creativity into her work with clients. She previously interned at Pat’s Place Child Advocacy Center where she provided case management services for children who had experienced sexual abuse. This year, she is completing her IBH practicum at Levine Cancer Institute. She is interested in holistic, trauma-informed care and is very passionate about integrating mental health services into healthcare settings. Upon graduation, Christina intends to pursue licensure and continue providing services informed by the needs of the community.
