School of Social Work

Eliana Phillips is a 1-Year Advanced Standing Master of Social Work program student and an IBH Scholar at UNC Charlotte. She earned a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Carolina in 2024. Eliana is passionate about working with children and adolescents which she discovered during her undergraduate internship at Family First Community Services. Her current IBH internship is at Atrium Health, South Lake Pediatrics where she works with children in the pediatric care office. When considering working with diverse populations, Eliana reflects on the importance of addressing both children’s mental health issues and providing therapy to parents, as parental influences often play a significant role in children’s well-being. She is particularly drawn to trauma-based interventions, offering therapy for individuals facing a variety of trauma-related challenges. Looking ahead, Eliana is eager to deepen her understanding of the Integrated Behavioral Health model and collaborate professionally with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, family-centered care.
