Emily Harrell

Emily Harrell is currently completing her third year of the Distance Education, Masters’ in Social Work (MSW) program at UNC Charlotte. Emily earned her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice (BSCJ) with minors in both Psychology and Sociology from Appalachian State University in 2020. She has previous experience working with children and teenagers in a school-based field placement with Union County Public Schools (UCPS) as well as in a non-profit after-school setting. Emily will be completing her advanced year field placement with Cabarrus Health Alliance (CHA) working in their pediatric behavioral health department. She is very passionate about working with children, teenagers, and their families and upon graduation hopes to obtain her License in Clinical Social Work (LCSW) to continue working with these populations.
