Kinzer Trettel
Kinzer Trettel is a final-year student in the 2-year Master of Social Work program and an IBH Scholar at UNC Charlotte. She earned a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Religion from Furman University in 2022. She is deeply committed to the field of mental health, with a strong passion for building meaningful relationships with staff and clients and advocating for mental wellness. She has experience as a behavioral health technician at an eating disorder hospital and mental health facility, a discharge planner and data analyst at a residential mental health facility, and has conducted extensive research throughout her undergraduate and graduate studies. Kinzer is currently interning at the Hope Community Clinic of East Charlotte, providing clinical support. She aspires to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), continue to support clients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote holistic mental and physical well-being.
