Kristen Roberts

Kristen Roberts is a student in the 1-year Advanced-Standing Master of Social Work program and an IBH Scholar at UNC Charlotte. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from North Carolina A&T State University (2024). Kristen is passionate about working with children and young adults focusing on mental health and trauma. Her current internship is at Novant Health Michael Jordan Family Medical Clinic (Freedom Drive). Her prior internship experience includes case management for the unhoused and refugee/immigrant populations at the Interactive Resource Center and New Arrivals Institute in Greensboro, North Carolina. Kristen aspires to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), continue working in medical social work, and open a private practice.
