Sela White is a 1-year advanced standing student in the Master of Social Work program and an IBH scholar at UNC Charlotte. She graduated cum laude from the University of South Carolina in May 2024 with a Bachelor of Social Work, a minor in Criminal Justice, and a Distinction in Leadership. Her passion is healthcare, juvenile justice, and families living in poverty. She has worked with both elementary and high school-aged children in school settings and with the unhoused population. Sela is currently interning at Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute Pineville while also serving as a Graduate Assistant at the Jamil Niner Student Pantry. In this role, she mentors interns and contributes to improving the pantry’s processes. After graduation, she plans to pursue clinical licensure and continue working in a healthcare setting. She is open to various sectors and concentrations.
