Stephanie Vaner Lught

Stephanie Ann Vander Lugt is in her final year in the Master of Social Work Program at UNC Charlotte. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in History and a Master’s degree in Theological Studies. Her background is in community development, violence prevention, youth mentoring, and includes ten years of experience working with currently and recently incarcerated women. Stephanie intends to pursue licensure to practice therapy with groups and individuals with a focus on healing trauma and an interest in eco- and nature-based modalities, somatics, and embodiment. She is passionate about access to quality mental and behavioral health care for all and is looking forward to completing her IBH internship at Hope Community Clinic of East Charlotte.
